keeping you safe during COVID-19

new policies

  • All clients and instructors are required to WEAR A FACE MASK THAT COMPLETELY COVERS THE NOSE AND MOUTH, regardless of vaccination status. These masks must stay on while inside the studio.

  • We will be conducting touch-less temperature checks upon entry to the studio. ANYONE WITH A TEMPERATURE OF 100 DEGREES OR HIGHER WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE, and will have their session credited back to their account.

  • All group classes and private sessions have been shortened in duration to 50 minutes. This will ensure ample time between classes for the machines and props to be thoroughly cleaned and for all clients to leave the studio before the next group comes in.

  • Be prepared to change your own springs, move your own foot bar, adjust the gear bar for your height, etc. and to thoroughly clean your equipment at the end of each session.

  • As always, socks are required and we ask that you BE DRESSED TO WORKOUT AND HAVE YOUR SOCKS ON BEFORE ENTERING THE STUDIO. The dressing rooms will not be open at this time. Please bring as little with you into the studio as possible. Ideally, just your keys and a water bottle (a full one, so that there is no need to touch the water dispenser).

  • NO LATE ENTRY WILL BE PERMITTED. Please arrive 5 minutes prior to class start time. If you are late, we will not be able to thoroughly screen for symptoms and you will not be allowed to take class. Classes and sessions will begin promptly at their appointed time, at which point the door will be locked.

  • At this time, we cannot allow guests or visitors, including children. Please do not bring anyone with you to the studio who is not taking class.

entry & exit

  • Please wait outside the BACK DOOR of the studio until the instructor opens the door and invites you in.

  • Upon entry, your temperature will be taken by the instructor with a touch-less thermometer. If your temperature is 100 degrees or higher, we will kindly ask you to reschedule your session. Your class will be credited back to your account for use at a later time.

  • You will be asked to wash or sanitize your hands when entering the studio.

  • Once you have been screened, make your way to the reformer of your choice and have a seat on the machine.

  • After your session, use the hand sanitizer next to your machine to clean your hands BEFORE grabbing a clean towel and using the spray provided to completely and thoroughly wipe down your machine (see CLEANING below). When you are done, place the used towel in the hamper by the door.

  • Collect your belongings and exit through the FRONT DOOR.

cleaning

To clean your equipment after a session:

  • Use the hand sanitizer provided to clean your hands before grabbing a towel and spray.

  • Spray onto the towel, not the machine.

  • Gently scrub. It takes more than a single wipe to disinfect the machine; don’t be afraid to put some muscle into it.

  • Clean ALL hard surfaces. Thoroughly wipe down the head rest, shoulder blocks, loop pegs, foot bar, rails, etc. That includes the springs! Cleaning all of the parts of the machine you touched should take roughly 3-5 minutes.

  • Wash your hands or use the hand sanitizer provided.

We are taking your health and safety seriously, and have completed a COVID-19 Cleaning course through the Fit Reformer, which follows all CDC guidelines. Our studio will continue to be professionally cleaned each week, and our instructors will be disinfecting high touch areas (door knobs, cubbies, bathroom sink, etc.) between each session. We thank you for your cooperation in keeping our studio a clean and safe space for everyone.
